I'm Kelli and I help busy families plan amazing (and magical) vacations without the stress and overwhelm.
Enchanted Rose wasn’t even on my radar before our girls’ trip to Walt Disney World.
As a non-drinker, lounges usually aren’t the places I gravitate toward while planning my own Disney trips. I’m much more likely to get excited about a great meal, a cozy resort atmosphere, or a fun specialty latte than a lounge experience.
But my bestie, Ashley, kept mentioning Enchanted Rose and I was all for experiencing something new – we were pumped when we grabbed a reservation for some pre-dinner drinks!
And honestly, if it hadn’t been for her recommendation, I probably never would’ve walked into Enchanted Rose at all…
…which means I also never would’ve discovered what may genuinely be my favorite mocktail EVER.
And yes, I’m fully aware that sounds dramatic…but after finally trying it for myself? Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is officially one of my favorite spots.
I completely understand the hype now.
I think what surprised me most about Enchanted Rose was how much the atmosphere itself shaped the experience.
The lounge feels tucked away from the chaos of the parks in the best possible way: quiet, cozy, elegant, and subtle without feeling stuffy.
And honestly? It felt very “Grand Floridian.” Disney did such a beautiful job creating a space that feels inspired by Beauty and the Beast without leaning overly themed or character-heavy.
Instead, it feels intentional and immersive in a quieter, more grown-up way.
By the time Ashley and I sat down with our drinks, it honestly felt less like “stopping for a beverage” and more like taking a deep breath at the tail end of a busy Disney resort-hopping day.
And I think that’s part of why the Lavender Fog became so memorable to me.
If you’ve ever tried any drink with floral notes, you know I was nervous that the lavender flavor would taste too floral or perfume-like, but it was surprisingly soft and balanced. Light, calming, slightly creamy, subtly floral without being overpowering…somehow both refreshing and cozy at the same time.
It felt unique enough to feel special without trying too hard.
And as someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, I loved that the drink itself was absolutely beautiful, (complete with a dainty purple flower!) so it felt like a complete experience instead of simply the “default non-alcoholic option” on the menu.
That’s honestly one of the things I notice most at most lounges and restaurants: sometimes non-alcoholic drinks feel like an afterthought. Like a syrupy, sweet concoction to satisfy a child’s want for a “grown up” drink.
The Lavender Fog felt like part of the experience – from presentation to taste! It felt intentional.
I honestly think people love the Lavender Fog because it fits the exact kind of Disney experience so many adults are craving right now.
Not rushed.
Not overstimulating.
Not “go-go-go.”
Just a slower, elevated little moment that still feels magical, and that’s something Disney actually does really well when you allow yourself space to experience it.
I think so many people picture Disney vacations as constant motion – Lightning Lanes, dining reservations, rope drops, nighttime spectaculars – and while those things absolutely can be part of the magic, I’ve found some of my favorite Disney memories happen in the quieter in-between moments.
Sitting in a beautiful lounge.
Talking with your best friend.
Taking a break from the crowds.
Trying something new.
Enjoying the atmosphere.
The Lavender Fog definitely became tied to that feeling for me. A core memory of our trip!
SIP. Absolutely. Sip and then maybe, sip again.
Not just because the drink itself was genuinely good, but because the entire experience surrounding it felt memorable. And honestly? I’d go back to Enchanted Rose just for another one!
One important thing to know: the Lavender Fog actually isn’t listed directly on the menu as a non-alcoholic specialty drink. You’ll simply want to order it as a non-alcoholic Lavender Fog.
As a non-drinker, I’ve realized some of Disney’s BEST mocktails and specialty drinks aren’t always the most obvious options on the menu — sometimes you just need the insider tip.
If you’re a non-drinker, sober, pregnant, traveling with teens, or simply someone who enjoys fun specialty drinks without alcohol, I genuinely think the Lavender Fog is one of the best non-alcoholic drinks at Walt Disney World.
And if you’re someone who needs the reminder that Disney magic doesn’t always have to happen on a ride…
…this might be your sign to slow down long enough to grab the drink.
